I am continuing the endeavor of others to complete a college education without going into debt for the rest of my life, lol :). I am attending Simpson University with a focus in social science, but moreover, my personal relationship with Jesus Christ in whom I have gained a new life. Stuggling with 'forward motion', lol, I am attempting to make a difference. I understand that while I do not necessarily have the will to carry out everything, the Lord's grace is sufficient. 2nd Corinthians 12:9-10 says, But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power might rest on me. In addtion, John 15:5 says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
Hebrews 10:24-25 is another favorite verse of mine which says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." This of course encourages us to continue our fellowship with others and to focus our sights on God's will as He prepares the way.
The above paragraph gives testimony to what I believe and what I am trying to become: Christ-like/Christian.
On a lighter note, this journal hopefully will allow my friends and family to know how I am and provide an easier contact page...lol
I will continue, my best, to hold all of you in my prayers.
